Christmas Party
We will have a Christmas party next Friday 18th December in 5-2 English class. Please bring:
- A gift that costs between 5,000won and 10,000won to play the Christmas Santa Game that I explained in class. Wrap the gift and put your name on it. Bring it to school and we will put it under our Christmas Tree. (no gift=no play)
- Some decorations for our class Christmas Tree.
- A snack for the Christmas party. I will buy plates and spoons, just in case we have a cake.

Dear Parents
As you know in Semester Two I have not given out punishments for learners who don’t do their homework. Instead, I have given rewards (Fudgebucks) to learners who do their homework.
I did this because Korean homework/tests and Hugwon homework/tests, combined with English Homework, was causing stress in the classroom.
However, some learners in 5-2 took advantage of this and NEVER did their homework. Additionally, they may have been encouraging other students not to do their homework aswell. This is a shame because there are many learners who do a great job in class.
As a result, I now have to ensure that a little homework is done each night by all students.
Please look at the Homework Tasks page to understand what your child must do to complete their homework.
I understand that children are very busy some days with Hugwons. If there is a night when your child is unable to finish their homework, PLEASE WRITE A LETTER EXPLAINING WHY.
The normal consequences will be issued for learners who do homework and learners who don’t do it.
Thank you
James Caldwell
